As a loving pet parent, Koen’s motivation goes beyond numbers. He helps protect the Foundation’s ability to create lasting impact for dogs and cats today and in the years to come.

Jürgen brings a strong people-focused perspective to the Foundation through his experience as Co-Founder of Edgard & Cooper. With a background in sales and team leadership, he believes real change starts with engaged people and shared values.

Driven by his love for animals, Jürgen supports the Foundation in growing with purpose while staying true to its ethical roots. As a trustee, he helps ensure the Foundation remains grounded, collaborative, and impact-driven.

Louis brings a sense of purpose to the Foundation, shaped by his personal belief that companies should not only focus on turnover but also on having impact. He believes that doing good for animals, people, and the planet should be at the heart of every decision.

As a pet parent and trustee, Louis is closely involved in the Foundation’s day-to-day work. He helps turn ambition into action, acting as a thoughtful link between expert insight and strategic choices to maximise real-world impact.

Ursula brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in veterinary medicine, surgery and animal welfare, driven by a lifelong commitment to reducing animal suffering. A trained veterinarian, she has worked across the world on TNVR programmes, veterinary training, and humane population management initiatives.

With deep respect for animals, people, and local context, Ursula supports the Foundation with practical, compassionate guidance. Her work helps ensure decisions lead to meaningful change today while preventing suffering tomorrow.

Tanya brings over 25 years of global leadership in the aid sector to the Foundation, with a specific focus on organisational strengthening and strategic transformation. Currently Director of the CHS Alliance, she is a passionate advocate for accountability and ethics as essential drivers of values-led change.

As a dedicated pet parent to 12 animals, Tanya’s work is deeply personal. She brings her experience in turning long-term visions into clear, achievable plans. Her resilient approach to complex strategy contributes to the Foundation's ambitions of building a sustainable and ethical future for all.

Judith brings a wealth of experience in animal welfare, shaped by years of working with animals and the people who care for them. She runs her own veterinary practice in Germany and serves as Vice President of the German Animal Welfare Federation. She has also worked as an animal shelter consultant and regularly delivers workshops on the topic.

Driven by a desire to help organisations grow and improve, Judith has a strong eye for strengthening processes, filling knowledge gaps, and supporting sustainable development. She helps guide the Foundation and its partners to the next level, ensuring work is impactful and built to last.
